Sherry Lynn Wolfe-Eyer
Sherry Lynn Wolfe-Eyer, age 58, of Wakefield, Kansas, passed away September 29, 2016.
Sherry was a devoted wife, loving daughter and generous friend. She had a fondness for spending time gardening, canning, and cooking for her family and friends. She loved all animals, especially her pets, they gave her such happiness, unwavering companionship, and love. She had a sharp, witty sense of humor, matched only by her husband’s. Sherry enjoyed life to its fullest, was always up for an adventure, and loved to travel, including and especially destinations abroad. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Geary Community Hospital, before transitioning into Information Technology, and was well regarded by her colleagues and peers for her dedication and the impact she had on so many lives.
Sherry is survived by: her husband of 23 years James (Jim) Eyer: her mother Shirley Gormley Gray: her brother Rodney Gray (Sheri); her stepdaughter KathrinaMcGarvey (Chris); her stepson James Eyer Jr. (Vicki) and a long list of family and friends too numerous to list, but not forgotten.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Wolfe, her stepfather, Earl Gray, grandmother, Helen Widler, and great grandparents, George and Galena Towers.
We invite you to join us and celebrate together at a graveside memorial service at the Indian Hill Cemetery in Chapman, Kansas on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00PM. The Danner Funeral Home in Abilene, Kansas will coordinate all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Junction City Friends of Animals.
