92, passed away Monday, November 24th, in Abilene. She was born March 17, 1922 in Industry, the daughter of James and Bessie (Wingard) Gibbs. Growing up in Industry she attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School. March 15, 1941 Norma was married to Carl LeRoy Dalton in the Presbyterian parsonage. All their married life was spent in Abilene. She had been employed by the Hitching Post Restaurant as a waitress and West I.G.A as a clerk. Norma enjoyed quilting, crocheting and animals. She was a member of the Abilene First United Methodist Church and the Abilene Quilting Guild. Norma was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Chaimberlin.

The family had chosen cremation. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 4th, at the Union (Livingston) Cemetery north of Abilene with Rev. John Collins officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be made to the No Place Like Home Animal Shelter. They may be left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, Kansas 67410.
