81, passed away Friday, September 19th, in Salina. She was born March 11, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of George and Eva (Nerney) Rambo. Growing up in Columbus, she attended local schools and graduated from Central High School. On October 29, 1951, she was married to Jack Coleman in Columbus. Their married life was spent in McPherson, Great Bend and Dodge City. Jean had been employed by U.S.D 443 as a Food Service Manager. He preceded her in death April 23, 1986. In 2011, she moved to Abilene. Jean was also preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Steven Coleman.

The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 22nd, at the Community Bible Church in Abilene with pastor Jonathan Wenger officiating. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be made to the Frontier Estates Social Fund. They may be left at the church the day of the service or left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, KS 67410.
