Leta f. Corbett
91 passed away Thursday, December, 12th, in Abilene. She was born February 21, 1922 in Broughton, Kansas, the daughter of Eldon and Gaye (Snyder) Mall. Growing up in the area, Leta attended local schools and graduated from Clay Center High School. On August 4, 1943, she was married to Roy E. Corbett. The early years of their married life was spent in Staunton, Virginia, moving to Clay Center in 1959 and then to Abilene in 1962. He preceded her in death November 5, 1972. Leta had been employed by Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, retiring after 44 years. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Mall.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 17th, at the Woodlawn cemetery in Clay Center. Interment will follow in the Greenwood cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30-6:30 P.M. Monday, December 16th, at the Danner Funeral Home.
